Forge PR & Marketing combines my passion for all things countryside and equine whilst championing, and providing support and expertise to, independent rural businesses. It is a role that I love and is both pleasantly challenging and extremely rewarding.
I graduated with an Equine Business degree and began my career coordinating IT system development at Weatherby’s Group Ltd.
Following relocation to Abergavenny I married (very talented) Master Farrier, Nigel Brown AWCF. Together we launched the award-winning Forge & Farrier website, an online magazine for farriers, which has fast become internationally recognised. Through my work with Forge & Farrier and N R Brown Farriers Ltd I have been asked to work on a freelance basis for farrier supply companies, equine product manufacturers and publications. Fast forward the production of a few websites later and the meteoric rise of social media and my appetite for digital has been realised.
In 2014 I became a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and completed their Advanced Certificate. I have also gained specialised certficates in Digital Copywriting, Social Media Strategy and Digital Marketing. I am committed to ensuring my skills and knowledge are up to date so that I can offer the best advice and service possible - critical to this fast paced and ever-evolving digital environment.
Involvement across different industries demonstrates my ability to learn quickly and adapt whilst capitalising on valuable experience and enjoying the variety.
I am based on the edge of the very beautiful Black Mountains in South Wales, but have clients in Staffordshire, Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire as well as further afield in the UK and abroad.
The Extended Team
I am happy to work alongside an existing team or business whose services you already utilise and trust. However, should you require further services, I am delighted to involve the skills and expertise of those that I work with regularly -
